The choice for Norway as holiday place is a logical one, since the country
has almost everything in it for a perfect holiday. There are beautiful cities
and villages, woods, lakes, mountains, plains, rivers, fjords and of course
plenty of space and rest. An ideal surrounding for the active holidays that
we organise.
An example of such a programme is described below. Of course it is also possible
to put together your own programme, with for example canoeing, mountain walks,
bike tours etc.
It is of course also possible to explore the surroundings on your own and to
enjoy the many possibilities that Norway has to offer.
Down below is an example of a 14-day programme. This programme is exclusive
the travelling time to and from the camp site in Stordal.
Day 1: arrival.
Day 2, 3, 4, 5: a walking tour through the mountains with stays in mountain cabins.
Day 6: a rest day; just relaxing by fishing or canoeing for example.
Day 7: bicycling; everyone will be brought to the starting point of the bike tour and you can cycle back to the camp site in your own pace. The tour will be planned downhill mostly. A mountain bike tour can also be arranged.
Day 8: rafting
Day 9: a day in Alesund, a beautiful Judgendstil city with nice shopping possibilities and numerous terraces.
Day 10, 11, 12: canoeing tour, staying in a tent at the waterside.
Day 13: a day to spend at your own choice, for example walking, canoeing, cycling etc.
Day 14: packing up tents and return journey
This all is offered for the amount of 2400 kr (about € 289). In this
price is included: toll camp site, canoe hire, bike rent, rafting, walking
and canoeing route description, and information about Alesund. The costs of
staying in the mountain cabins are excluded.
